Happy Monday to all of you. Today I have a thank you card to show you all (about how I did it as per so many requests) which I posted earlier on Instagram to show my gratitude to everyone who support and guide me in this crafting community as well as to my family members. I want to show you all that how I feel for each and everyone of your likes and comments. I rejoice it and feel like flying in the sky and wants to go for bungee trampoline ride😜😁. Ha ha crazy me 😆. So I made an interactive card. I have a small video at the end of the post, Hit the play button to see how it works.
I dedicate this card especially to my first and lovely friend Ishani (do check out her Instagram account here #quill_ish , you won’t be disappointed) in this crafting community who never miss to boost my energy level and guide as well. She amaze us often by incorporating quilling into her cards. Her cards speak kindness. 💕❤️😍😘. Also So much kind souls are there in my list who made me smile all over my face and the list goes on 😄. I’m always grateful for all of your love. I thank you all once again for your patience, kind, love and support. 😊😃😍😘.
First I sketched down my idea,
Coming to the working part of my card, it’s basically a pull tab slider card which is known to everyone in this crafting community. I made the interactive part with cotton cord and acetate sheet(transparent sheet). First I marked two points within which my illustrated image should move (jump) up and down. Then, I looped acetate strip from top to bottom. Next, I Adhered the girl to its front, keeping the middle of the cord to her hip using foam tape. Then I made the two edges of cord pulled through two extreme holes (at the top of poles) to back and attached to the backside of acetate, thereby, adhered the pull tab msg holder on top of the same with foam tape. Now it’s ready.
Whoeverfeels like me, just comment your thoughts here. Would love to know how you feel when u receive such infinite love!!!😊.
